History
Hanna’s relief work is an independent Christian, non-political organization, which since 1969 engaged in social activity among children and youth in Sri Lanka.
Operation’s main commitment is the Elim orphanage located outside the city of Jaffna in northern Sri Lanka. 70 boys and girls, many orphans are resident at the orphanage.
Sponsorship is conducted at several locations in the country, mainly in the capital Colombo and in the jungle area south of Jaffna. When children live with their parents and get help with food, clothing and schooling.

Organisation
All work in Sweden are carried out voluntarily by Hanna’s Help service line board, which is responsible for financial management. Both Sweden and Sri Lanka reviewed the activities of accountants.
Elim Children’s Home is registered in Sri Lanka under company act, Registration Number: GA- 536 & Social Service, Probation & Child Care Services No : NP/24/2/1/CH/05
